The UM Secure Wireless is designed to provide a secure network with encryption to protect your information on the network. At this time you must use a wireless network card that is capable of supporting a WPA-2 Encryption format. Please follow the steps below for the Intel PROSet Wireless Setup.
Step1 Begin by opening your wireless network connections using the Intel PROSet Icon. Step2 Click Profiles to open another window. Step3 Select Add... Step4 Under General Settings Profile Name: UMB Secure WiFi Network Name (SSID): UMB Secure Leave the operating mode set to Network (Infrastructure) Hit Next >> Step5 Use these settings: Bullet Enterprise Security Network Authentication: WPA2 - Enterprise Data Encryption: AES-CCMP Authentication Type: TTLS Authentication Protocol: PAP User Credentials: Prompt each time I Connect Hit NEXT>> Step6 Check Validate Server Certificate Any Trusted CA Hit OK Step7 Select the UMB Secure SSID from the network list and hit Connect Step8 Do not change the Roaming Identity and type in your User Name and Password. Make sure to leave Domain BLANK. Hit OK Step9 The connection process may take up to 90 seconds to complete. Step10 The window will show you are connected. Close this window and open Internet Explorer. Step11 Login using your myUMB and Password and select Continue. Step12 Select Launch Cisco NAC Windows Agent 4.7.2.xx Step13 Follow the on-screen instructions to install the NAC Agent. Step14 Select Finish to complete the installation. Step15 You can use your myUMB Login and password and select Log-in. Step16 Once your system meets the requirements you will recieve a window showing you have full network access. Select OK to close this window. If you do not recieve this message you need to make sure your system meets the requirements. The system will try to make the necessary repairs which may take up to 20 minutes depending on your system.
