I. Transaction System Upgrade

a. Sometime this summer

b. Making the One Card PCI compliant

c. Will fully test it in Development environment

II. The Common ID Project

a. General Timeline

1. Finalize certain technical tasks

2. Begin School Testing (On Development Shib)

1. We will start with a Shibboleth development environment

2. We will test in a Shibboleth-Prod environment by May

3. The environment will not be most recent data

iii. Specific items to be tested

1. We will provide more information as we go along

2. Testing of locally managed accounts will be part of it

c. Account Reconciliation

i. There are accounts in Bb that are not in the Directory

ii. We would like to distribute these by school to school Bb Admins

1. We would like to have one person per school responsible

iii. We would ask them to discern, who:

1. Should be in the Directory

2. Should be in the Affiliate database

3. Who should be locally managed (and authenticated)

4. Who should be deleted

d. Timing of Cutover

i. It was suggested to use this list to reach consensus

ii. Please share your preferred dates for the cutover

iii. Probably between late July and the beginning of classes

III. Use of the Community Module

a. What are your plans?

b. Do you need anything from us (e.g., additional training)?

i. Sarita indicated that the Dental School would be interested in more training

ii. I ask that others please respond to this list with your requirements

IV. Future of CE server

a. Our goal is to consolidate it with the traditional system

b. It is not a priority for us right now; we have to finish Common ID

c. There are many issues

d. Priority of this work will be balanced against other potential projects

i. Upgrade to 7.x

ii. Upgrade to 8.x

V. Issues from the floor

a. Wimba and Pronto are not available for general use yet

i. Shannon, Lowell, and Matt are piloting it

b. The campus is also in discussion with Cisco WebEx

VI. Do you think the University would be interested in an enterprise deployment of Google Mini?

b. Westlaw, Medline, and other available databases probably would meet needs
