| Intercampus Biochemistry Doctoral Program Doctoral Admission Requirements Students wishing to enter the Ph.D. program in biochemistry will be required to meet the basic minimum standards for admission to the University of Maryland Graduate School and to receive the approval of the Program Governing Committee. Such approval will normally be based upon undergraduate grades (cumulative B average or better), letters of recommendation, Graduate Record Examination scores (minimally 1700), and, wherever possible, personal interviews. Previous success in graduate education will be taken into consideration. Program applications may be requested through the graduate admissions offices on either campus. The campus to which you submit your application will have no impact on consideration of your application.
