UMB individual using UMBC facilities

  • UMBC is located in Catonsville, Maryland. It is UMB's sister institution and one of the 13 campuses and research centers in the USM family.
    .
  • UMB, through a paid contractual agreement of the schools, has arranged for access to the UMBC recreational facilities for UMB current students, faculty, and staff. This arrangement is reviewed yearly and is effective for the 2007-2008 academic year. It is free for all UMB Students and staff to use UMBC this academic year (July 1, 2007 - June 30, 2008).
    .
  • Only current UMB students, faculty, and staff have this privilege.  A current UMB ID (One Card) is necessary to enter UMBC facilities.  Individuals without the UMB ID will be denied entry (UMBC policy).
    .
  • All other University Athletic Center affiliations DO NOT have access to UMBC and cannot use their facilities. Membership at the UAC does not transfer to UMBC.  Community memberships to UMBC pool are available. UMBC Community Membership link.

To use UMBC's facilities you will have to present your current University of Maryland Baltimore (One Card) ID. No other ID is accepted or can be used. It is important for UMB students and staff who work in the hospital to not use their UMMC ID. It will not be accepted and you will be turned away.  UMBC does not maintain a UMB database and your status cannot be verified via their computers.  Your UMB ID is your only way to gain access.
