All currently enrolled and tuition paying UMB Students have FREE access to the UMB BioPark Fitness Center. This is included as part of the fees all UMB students pay per semester. UMB Students who graduated in 2008 are still considered students in regards to membership type through June 30, 2009. These alumni will need to complete a membership registration and bring proof of a 2008 graduation. Note: UMB students (no longer enrolled), J-Scholars, Post-Docs, Residents, Interns, Visiting Students and any student from another University (including UMBC) are NOT considered UMB Students and are NOT included in this category. These individuals must purchase membership to use the UMB BioPark Fitness Center. |

Includes the following: BioPark Employees & Staff (tenets) UMB Faculty UMB Staff UMB One Card Holders | This group includes those that are primary to the UMB Campus and the UMB BioPark. This includes all currently employed UMB Faculty & Staff, and BioPark Employees. A valid UMB One Card or a BioPark Employee ID is required to receive this rate. The UMB One Card is pre-coded and will operate as the membership card once activated by the Fitness Center staff. Anyone who works for one of the BioPark Corporations or companies (tenets) are eligible for membership. This group is considered Primary Members and are eligible for the Primary Membership Rate. A valid ID from the parent company or a UMB One Card is required to verify employment status and to get this rate. Note: UMB Post-docs, J-Scholars, Residents, Interns, Fellows, and other UMB non-students with a UMB One Card are classified in the Primary Category. UMB Retirees are also eligible in this category provided retirement status with UMB has been completed. |

UMB Alumni will have two rates based on the YEAR of graduation. Alumni who graduate in May 2008, Summer 2008, or December 2008 (calendar year 2008) are considered to hold UMB Student Status. The membership is free but the application must be completed and will expire on June 30, 2009. Alumni who graduated in the calendar year 2007 or before must purchase a membership to use the BioPark Fitness Center. This group is considered in the Alumni Category and are eligible for the Alumni Membership Rate.

- WP Carter Center Employees
- Visiting Students & Residents Rotating through UMMC or STC.

| Office of The Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) | Anyone who works for OCME or its affiliates are eligible for membership. A valid OCME ID is required. |
Veteran's Admin Hospital Staff
(VA in Baltimore Only) | Anyone who is an employee of the VA Hospital in Baltimore is eligible. Only those employed at the Baltimore location may purchase membership. Verification of VA current employment is necessary - recent pay stub required. |

A valid ID from an USM institution plus a recent pay stub (employees) or current registration documentation (students) is required to purchase membership. Anyone who is a spouse, significant other, or domestic partner (referred to as Significant Other) of a current UMB student or UMB BioPark Fitness Center Member is eligible for membership. The rates vary based on the person who is sponsoring the Significant Other or Dependent. Proof of relationship is required. The membership term (length) for both the sponsoring member and the significant other must be the same. - UMB Student Sponsored Significant Other rate is the Primary Membership Rate
- For all other current members, the Significant Other rate is the same as the sponsoring member's rate (category).
