| | | Are you having a hard time getting out of the office or the lab for Walking on Wednesdays from 11:00am to 2:00pm, but would still like to participate in a walking program? | |  | | | |
Since so many of us spend most of our time in the workplace (maybe sitting at a desk or behind a computer), it makes sense to incorporate more fitness into your work day. What Do I Have To Do? Complete the registration form and return (can either downloaded from this website or picked up at the UMB Athletic Center. - Sign up for the President's Challenge (free tracking/logging of your daily activities). Go to the following webpage to register:
http://www.presidentschallenge.com/login/register_individual.aspx Be sure to include: After registering for the President's Challenge, you need to start logging your activities. As you log activities you will be able to track your progress. This on-line tracking system is how I will keep track of your progress. Suggestion for web page data input: for birth date submit correct year but wrong day and month. Input correct weight and height in order to track progress and determine body mass index. Note: If you also participate in the Walking on Wednesday Program, the President's Challenge does not take place of checking in and checking out at each Walking Wednesday, i.e., if you log in your Walking Wednesday into the President's Challenge log you must still come and check in and check out at the Library for each Walking Wednesday . But remember, you should log all activities into the President's Challenge.
Throughout the 14 week period (April 25 through July 25) you have the opportunity to reach several incentive points.
