Indoor group exercise cycling is a high energy program taught by an
instructor. Its inspiring music
and camaraderie offers an effective way to train the cardiovascular system. With no choreography to learn, it is a
class for everyone (all levels of fitness), that closely resembles a ride on
the road encountering the challenges of intervals, hills, and jumps. Beginners and advanced participants
can benefit in the same class.
Your instructor will teach you how to adjust your workout level.

Indoor Cycling Rules and Policies
|
- Due to limited class
size (15), it is highly recommended that group cycling registered
participants call to reserve a spot in advance. Registered participants can
only call the day of the class. If you have not registered for
the cycling program you can drop in (see fees) if a bike is available.
- Registered
participants can reserve a bike over the phone as early as 6:00am and
may only reserve a bike for themselves. Reservations may not be left on
voice mail.
- If you are
pre-registered and reserved a bike, you must arrive within five (5) minutes of the scheduled start
time of the class. If you
have not claimed a cycle within five (5) minutes of the scheduled
start time, your seat may be given to another participant. Note: You should claim your cycle
before you go to change/locker room.
- If you reserve a bike
and fail to attend the class it will be recorded. If you have three or more
recorded no shows you will lose the privilege of calling in and reserving
a bike. You will not be
allowed to reserve a bike, however, you will
still be able to attend a class (if there are open bikes).
- All classes will
start as scheduled.
Lateness to class is both a safety issue and a distraction to
others. Please make every
effort to arrive on time and be ready to start.
- All participants
(pre-registered and drop ins) will be turned
away five (5) minutes after the scheduled start time of the
class.
- At the end of class, each participant is required to raise the
bike seat and handle bars to the highest position and wipe off the
bike seat, handle bars and frame.
