Low Water Pressure and/or Cloudy Water

Posted on: Monday, August 24, 2009
Time: 8:15 AM EDT

There was a break in a 40 inch water main near Saratoga and Greene Streets on Sunday, August 23, 2009. Repairs will be under way for a number of days. The City has opened fire hydrants to flush the system. Some university buildings may experience low water pressure and/or cloudy water. If your water is brown or cloudy, do not drink the water or use it for hand washing. Run the faucet until the water becomes clear. You may then resume regular use of the water.

Contact Work Control at 6-7570 if you have questions about this temporary service disruption.
