The University Police Force is actively seeking your cooperation and assistance in detecting and preventing acts of terrorism. We believe that an alert campus is our strongest asset. If you observe any suspicious activity, we encourage you to contact the University Police. We are asking you to assist us in identifying any suspicious persons or activity, which may include, but is not limited to:

1) SURVEILLANCE: Are you aware of anyone recording or monitoring activities, taking notes, using cameras/maps/binoculars, etc., on campus near key infrastructure entities/religious locations/government or military buildings/bases or other potential targets?

2) SUSPICIOUS QUESTIONING: Are you aware of anyone attempting to gain information in person, by phone, mail, etc., regarding any of the above locations or personnel associated therewith?

3) TESTS OF SECURITY: Are you aware of any attempts to penetrate or test physical security/procedures at any of the above locations?

4) ACQUIRING SUPPLIES: Are you aware of anyone attempting to purchase, obtain, or steal explosives, weapons, ammunition, uniforms, badges, passes, or any other items that could be used in a terrorist attack?

5) SUSPICIOUS PERSONS OUT OF PLACE: Are you aware of anyone who doesn't appear to belong on campus or in a particular place?

6) DRY RUNS: Have you observed any behavior that appears to be a dry run for terrorist or criminal activity, such as mapping out routes, playing out scenarios with other people, casing establishments, timing traffic lights/flow, etc.?

7) DEPLOYING ASSETS: Have you observed any stockpiled supplies, abandoned vehicles nearby or persons getting into position to access one of the above locations? This is often the last opportunity to alert authorities before a terrorist act.
