James N. Reynolds
James Reynolds is the Assistant Vice President for Fiscal and Administrative Affairs in the Office of Academic Affairs/Graduate School. His areas of responsibility and oversight include budget development and management, financial reporting and accounting services, human resources and payroll management for the Health Sciences and Human Services Library; Graduate School, Academic Affairs; Campus life Services including: Campus Center Operations, Student Financial Assistance and Education, the University Registrar’s Office, URecFit, the Wellness Hub, International Services, Student Disability Services, and Student Leadership and Development. He also oversees the business service operations for auxiliary enterprises which include the UMB Campus Store, vending, food services, the Pascault Row Student Apartment Complex and the Donaldson Brown Conference Center/Dental School Carriage House Project. In addition, Mr. Reynolds serves as a member of the Student Health Insurance Oversight Committee.
Mr. Reynolds received his BA degree with High Honors in Marketing from the Michigan State University and his MBA with concentrations in finance and public accounting from the University of Rochester, Simon Graduate School of Management. Additionally, Mr. Reynolds served for many years as a Finance and Facilities Site Visit Consultant for the American Dental Association - Commission on Dental Accreditation and was elected as an Honorary Member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, National Dental Honor Society, Phi Chapter. Mr. Reynolds previously held the position of Associate Dean for Finance, Institutional Operations and Planning in the Dental School, University of Maryland.
