Malinda Hughes
Malinda Hughes is from Tenafly, NJ. She earned a B.S. in Nursing from Columbia University after which she worked as a critical care nurse at leading medical institutions including New York University Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Medical Center, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and University of Maryland Medical Center.
Ms. Hughes was a researcher at the Health Care Advisory Board on Capitol Hill, where she wrote numerous papers on healthcare issues and policies. She obtained a Master’s in Publications Design at the University of Baltimore, concentrating in electronic media, and worked as a Web developer and content editor for RWD Technologies. Currently, she is the Academic Program Manager in the University of Maryland’s Office of Academic Affairs. In her free time, Ms. Hughes enjoys spending time with her family and playing the alto saxophone.
