The University of Maryland School of Medicine's Center for Vaccine Development will lead one of the nation's first studies of an experimental vaccine designed to prevent the 2009 H1N1 influenza virus. Karen L. Kotloff, MD, professor of pediatrics, is a lead investigator at the VTEU and a researcher in the Center for Vaccine Development at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
